In my spare time, I love to relax with my family; or listen to classical music on my beloved & esoteric Linn Sondek LP12 turntable for LPs and Linn Akurate DS for Studio Master downloads.  I love Mozart & Beethoven from the Classical era & just about anything and everything from the Romantic era.  I have a particular love of both the Dvorak & Elgar cello concertos. 

I am learning to play the cello (difficult!), but I feel very privileged to be taught by the incredibly talented Jessica Burroughs.

I enjoy reading science fiction novels & watching F1 motor racing, as well as PDC Darts. 

I also build working models from Meccano.  Here is a YouTube video clip of model Twin Cylinder Steam Engine I built, and a couple of pictures of a small tower crane I built with my Grandson over Christmas/New Year 2011-12.
